The residence at 913 Lilac Street, in the Lower Rattlesnake neighbor- hood, on the corner of Lilac and Harrison Streets, is just a brief twenty-minute walk to the University of Montana campus or to downtown Missoula and St. Patrick ��s Medical Center. �

The residence is on the city bus route accessed by stops along Van Buren Street. � Greenough Park is a dedicated nature preserve along Rattlesnake Creek which flows through this neighborhood and is just a few blocks from here. �

Missoula maintains bicycle and walking/running trails throughout the Rattlesnake drainage which also connect the the Clark Fork River trail system. �

The residence has a main-floor bedroom with a newly remodeled bathroom and travertine-tile shower. The kitchen has all new appliances, a gas range, dishwasher and everything you might want to use for meal preparations and to entertain guests. � The upstairs window faces southwest and the room is a generous space for office use and for � exercise/workout. � The upstairs space includes a half-bath and an independent Rinnai heater. � The domestic hot water is a solar-assisted system with a new Rinnai on-demand water heater. �

Rattlesnake Gardens � and Coffee House is a special food and wine resource just upstream on Rattlesnake Drive (Van Buren). � Daily creative and reasonably priced entree choices, wines at market prices.

It is a favorite of ours and always a great place to meet people.

The yard includes a small private patio area and secure off-street parking. � We request no pets and non-smoking tenants. � We live in the house next door and have remodeled a similar bungalow as a model ��green building �� and energy-conservation solar home. �
