We offer a fully furnished one-bedroom, two storey bungalow for short-term rental, by the week or by the month. High-speed Internet access is provided. We accept Master Card and VISA.
The residence at 913 Lilac Street, in the Lower Rattlesnake neighbor- hood, on the corner of Lilac and Harrison Streets, is just a brief twenty-minute walk to the University of Montana campus or to downtown Missoula and St. Patrick’s Medical Center.
The residence is on the city bus route accessed by stops along Van Buren Street. Greenough Park is a dedicated nature preserve along Rattlesnake Creek which flows through this neighborhood and is just a few blocks from here.
Missoula maintains bicycle and walking/running trails throughout the Rattlesnake drainage which also connect the the Clark Fork River trail system.
The residence has a main-floor bedroom with a newly remodeled bathroom and travertine-tile shower. The kitchen has all new appliances, a gas range, dishwasher and everything you might want to use for meal preparations and to entertain guests. The upstairs window faces southwest and the room is a generous space for office use and for exercise/workout. The upstairs space includes a half-bath and an independent Rinnai heater. The domestic hot water is a solar-assisted system with a new Rinnai on-demand water heater.
Rattlesnake Gardens and Coffee House is a special food and wine resource just upstream on Rattlesnake Drive (Van Buren). Daily creative and reasonably priced entree choices, wines at market prices.
It is a favorite of ours and always a great place to meet people.
The yard includes a small private patio area and secure off-street parking. We request no pets and non-smoking tenants. We live in the house next door and have remodeled a similar bungalow as a model “green building” and energy-conservation solar home.
